Improvisation
Improvisation Projects are led by a composer and 2 musicians and take the form of a practical one-day workshop looking at the idea of improvisation from the compositional point of view. All participants need to be instrumentalists or singers.
Customised Provision
Any and each of the above can be adapted to various forms of Applied Music, e.g:
Music for Dance Music for Theatre Music for Film

SOUND INVENTOR PROJECTS for adults
Our provision for young people above has successfully been adapted for older participants. Workshops, week-long projects and masterclasses can all be customised for a broad audience including those in Further or Higher Education, community learning programmes or as interested individuals.

SOUND INVENTOR PROJECTS INTERNATIONAL
Sound Inventors is easily transferable to other geographical settings. English language versions are readily available for use beyond the UK and we are in the process of developing non-English materials.
Particular account is taken of differences in education systems, ways of working and musical traditions.
SOUND INVENTOR CURRICULAR PROJECTS
If preferred, Sound Inventor projects of all kinds can be designed with an in-built emphasis on explicit curricular cross-references. Particularly relevant under our CPD provision and with applicability across all age and ability ranges, mapping Sound Inventors work against various national curricula can either be embedded into delivery or worked through as an advice surgery post-event.
The work covers all aspects of music curricula from listening to performing to creating to peer assessment.
